Our business started in 1980 as a part time endeavor employing only John and Carole McBride. At that time we signed a contract to operate and maintain the wastewater treatment facility in Vermilion County, Illinois which served:

Vermilion Manor Nursing Home

Animal Control

County Services Building

The business grew to be a full time operation with the addition of contracts to maintain and operate the:

Oakwood Truck Plaza

Redwood Inn

Thomas Mobile Home Park

Westville/Belgium Sanitary District.

Peterson/Puritan, Inc. (in 1985)

In 1988, the business incorporated under the name E.R.H. Enterprises and assumed all contracts. Our growth over the past 20 years has grown to us running 19 municipalities and 1-2,000,000 industrial pre-treatment facilities. We run municipalities in both Illinois and Indiana, covering a 70 mile area.
